    Hi, I'm facing a quite complicated problem in Google Forms. I've created a Google form to collect feedback for customer experience like how they evaluate their experience, how we can improve, etc. However, I'd like to do is to not to collect customer information (name, email, etc) if the customer doesn't want to provide. I'm struggling doing it on Google Forms and I was hoping you to help me with this or if I can do that on JotForm as well would be great. Thanks.

    Hello,

    You can't do that in Google Forms. Fortunately, JotForm has conditional logic feature that enables you to show or hide particular fields in the form. What conditional logic basically do is to allow you to manage your form fields based on previous responses. You can hide or show, un/require, disable or enable form fields and let them skip to another question. This feature grants you more control over your forms and provides a better user experience, which, therefore, leads to higher conversion rates.

    I'd recommend you to add a single choice field or a square widget asking form users whether they agree to provide personal information or stay anonymous. Depending on their response, name and surname field can show up or stay hidden. Therefore, unlike Google Forms, JotForm can help form users to stay anonymous - if they want to - through conditional logic. That's why JotForm is the best Google Forms alternative.

    Please follow these steps in order to use conditional logic;

    1- To add a single choice field, please click on "Add an element" and select "Single Choice". Form user can choose one of them.

    2- To add a Square Checkbox Widget, search it on "Widgets" tab and enter form field values under the Options tab.

    3- In order to hide or show name and surname field, you can hide the field in the first place. To do that, please click on field and enable "Hide field" from "Advanced" tab.

    4- To show hidden field if users choose to share their information, please go to Settings > Conditions > Show/Hide Field. I'll show it only on the single choice but you can do the same on Square checkbox Widget. If form users checks "Agree to share" button, full name field will show up in the form. If they choose "Don't agree to share" button, it will remain hidden.

    I hope this helps to keep your users anonymous. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact.
