Can jotform merge the {fullname} field into the filename on Dropbox?

I am using jotform to create a student funding application system for a university department. Applicants must upload a PDF of their CV, as well as filling out thier name, email address, major, etc.

What wastes time at the moment is manually renaming each PDF so that it is clearly related to the applicant when saved on our network drive.

Is there any way to use the {fullname} field on a jotform to automatically rename the PDF on submission? This would be amazing! If it requires lots of code, maybe someone can send instructions?

    Kind regards,

    Becky

    Thank you for contacting us.

Yes, this is possible to change the file/folder name for our Dropbox integration. To do this, please open your form Submissions page, click on the gear icon, click on the 'Manage Integration' and set the 'Folder Name' to your form name field.

    This will generate PDFs like:

    John Doe - 228242844421825149.pdf

It is recommended to not remove the 'Extend Folder Name' to avoid file override issues.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
