Jotforms appear blocked in China

    Hello,

We have forms that are sent out to incoming students and families, some of which are located in Mainland China. It has been pretty consistent that people in Mainland China have been unable to access our Jotforms. Is Jotform working to resolve this China blocking problem, or is there a process in place to have individual forms whitelisted?

What is the url of this form? Is there any error message, when the form is opened from China? Are you able to access this particular from a pc outside of China?

We will wait for your response.

Could you try using a different domain for your forms and see if that works?

Let us know how it goes. We will be happy to take a look again.

    Hello,

We tried these other domains and none worked at the time they were tested. They all had the same issues: incorrect formatting, unable to submit.

We had some similar complaints in the past. I think that this is related to the Great firewall. So, we can not guarantee, if a form will not be affected.

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Is Jotform not engaging to have this resolved?

In general, our servers are accessible in China. However, some resources can be slowed down due to great firewall.

You can suggest your China users to use VPN while reviewing forms. Most of them should be aware of this option due to the Great Firewall.

You can also download the full source code of your form and add it to your website, in order to move the form files to your servers. Then, you can provide a link of your web page instead of the form link and your form will be loaded from your server:
