I found the post below on this thread:

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/350637-Password-Protection-for-Multiple-Approval-Signatures

I am interested in the multiple form process as described below with the second form being Read-only. The link that Jonathan shared seems to no longer work. Can you provide further instructions on how to do this?

    Hi Eric,

Unfortunatelly, locking the other fields during edit mode will be difficult to do on the same form.

What you can probably try is using multiple forms for multiple approval stages.

You can set the answered field as Read-Only on the succeeding forms so that when Edit_link is used, the editor will not be able to modify the read-only content.

Here is my sample form http://form.jotform.me/form/40645492992465?

If you test this form, the 2nd form contains the answers from the previous form, but they are read-only. Even if you provide the edit_link to the 2nd form, they will remain read-only.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks!

Could you please confirm if you are trying to make some fields Read-Only if the form is loaded in Edit URL?

The process would be similar to this one: https://www.jotform.com/help/389-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-on-Edit-URL

Instead of creating a "Show/Hide Field" condition, you would use the "*Enable/Require Field" condition: https://www.jotform.com/help/371-How-to-Enable-Disable-Fields-Using-Conditional-Logic

Let us know if you need more help.

Thank you. So with that method, it looks like you would have to disable each individual question on the form correct? We would want the majority of the form to be read-only besides a second signature field and maybe one or two other questions.

I see you can Require or Unrequire Multiple, but if there was an option to disable multiple that would be what we would need.

Unfortunately, there is no option to disable multiple fields at once. It would be necessary to create one condition per field.

I'll forward a feature request to our back-end team to have the option to disable multiple fields at once. If this gets implemented in the future, you will be notified via this forum thread.
