Welcome to JotForm! By default, the files your visitors upload through the JotForm form is securely saved in our file servers. You can retrieve them by logging in to your JotForm account and going to the Submissions Page or email (if email alerts is configured).
Just recently, we have introduced our JotForm-Dropbox integration. With this new feature, it is possible for you to send the uploaded files directly to your computer.

By the way, you can also send uploaded files via FTP.
Please go to your form's Submissions Page and click the gear icon. Then click "Send uploads to FTP" (A) and enter your FTP account details (B).
Hope this will help as well.

What details do I use for the required fields?
- JotForm SupportmlizAnswered on March 25, 2011 at 09:40 AM
If you choose the Send uploads to FTP the required fields such as the
FTP Hostname, Username and Password will come from your FTP host provider.
You can ask them where to find these details.
If you choose the DropBox integration the details required will be your DropBox
email address and password.

With dropbox integration the file is also stored on jotforms servers, is this also true if I use the FTP option?

All files that are being uploaded through forms created using JotForm will be saved in your submissions page. This serves as your backup copy if you have FTP or Dropbox configured in your form.
