Sending a link from a form to another does'n recognized the entire string as a link

Asked by arpapiemonte on March 06, 2013 at 08:31 AM

    Hello

I've the kind of problem indicated in the subject of this email.

    Scenario:

    Customer fill a form, uploanding a file into it;

    Customer send the data filled into the form, to other systems (email, zoho, etc...);

The system of destination doesn't recognize correctly the field that contains the link of the uploaded file.

In jotform sending form I've configured the field of the link, putting in into bracket {}.

Is it possible to envelope the weblink string in a recognizable string?

Is the problem due to destination system way of recognize strings that contain web link?

    Thank's for answering

    Best Regards

    Hi

something is not working properly: the problem is back: system doesn't replace space with %20.

It has worked fine until until now, but now the problem is back.

Can someone tell me if there is something I should do to prevent and fix this problem?

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Diego

    Hi Sidharth

    Thank-you for answering.

We've got no ids...the form is "ArpaVIP - Modulo Richiesta Verifica Attrezzature", the record has been submitted at 2013-05-14 08:42:44

The field-URL link is called: Articolazione degli apparecchi

You'll notice the link is OK, but when it is transformed in SMTP format, the link became KO.

The system doesn't substitute space char with "%20".

You can try sending the field  Articolazione degli apparecchi  to an address of yours, you'll see where the problem is.

When I copy and paste the address I obtain this: http://www.jotformpro.com/uploads/arpapiemonte/22542811365955/234322964138650093/ProspAppSollevamento(3).xls

but the link should be like this:

    http://www.jotformpro.com/uploads/arpapiemonte/22542811365955/234322964138650093/ProspAppSollevamento%20(3).xls

    I'm sorry for my english.

Hope I've been clear explaining the problem.

    Best regards!

Hi Diego, I will admit, I am slightly confused about the problem you are having and the comparison looks though to be completely different from the original problem.

Is this the Error You are actually Having trouble with? Which is accessing an uploaded file? Can you please confirm?

    Hi Kade

the problem is the same: it was already fixed.

Now I can't understand if it has been an isolated case or if the system has been rollbacked to a previous version.

Until now, I notice just one case...so probably the situation has been turned ok.

If it is not, I'll open a remedy...

    Thank you!

    Best Regards
