    Hi there,

I am having trouble when feeding the auto-fill field with more than 61,500 characters (UTF-8) - yes, it's quite a long list ;-)

When leaving edit mode via clicking "my forms", then wanting to re-edit the form -

the auto-fill field and every field below disappear.

As long as I stay in edit mode - everything works fine - I can test and even fill out the form using the auto-fill function.

Do you have any idea how to fix that? Do I do something wrong?

    Hi,

Can you please try to clear your browser cache and I will clear your form cache in our end.

    Thanks

Hi, I just cleared my Firefox cache. Boxes are still gone.

I hope this is it since I tried before and the boxes were gone.

It seemed that leaving the edit mode via "my forms" had a different effect on the auto-fill field than "save" in edit mode. Does that help?

Hi there, I created two forms with 10-digit numbers in it:

Please type in "1" to see all available auto-fill entries when scrolling down

Running (all entries in place): http://form.jotformeu.com/form/30652188473357

Not Running (auto-fill entries disappear when exceeding 59560 characters) : http://form.jotformeu.com/form/30652116826350

What I found out so far: The one running has not been left via "my forms" yet and was just saved in edit mode (tab still open on my Firefox). When I close the tab reopen jotform.com and try to edit the form it will get broken. So currently I cannot re-edit it once I closed the tab or my session runs out of time.

Would love to get this fixed ;-) Thanks so far, Jan

Hi, well I've tried to think about that but unfortunately I don't see a way.

Users should enter a string that comes to their mind and the auto-fill function shows them the needed ID of a catalog. Like this...

    User Input:

    Hello

    Auto-Fill:

Hello my friend by Lonely Character (ID 765432)

Hello my guest by Dark Nights (ID 666543)

Since auto-fill works using javascript on the client side it is not possible to feed large number of items to it. We do not plan on re-implementing it at this point.
