I have confirmed this password for our square account. When I click "connect to square" I am presented with the login dialog box. after I enter the login info and hit ok I get a window that says initializing...then that widow disappears. Briefly there is the rolling circles where it previously said "connect to square" the the button goes back to "connect to square." Help

I checked on your form but I noted that there was no payment field on the form anymore. It seems you have deleted/removed Square payment integration on the form.
I did test Square payment integration on my test form, and it appears to be working properly as of this checking.
I was able to add Square payment field and it was connected on sandbox mode.
Example:
What I suggest is to try adding again the Square payment field on your form. If it did not connect or work, please leave it as is so that we can also check on the issue.
I hope this help. Please let us know if issue persist.

I tested square in one of my forms and it is working fine on my end as well. Please try with another browser as well. That may work. Or, try clearing your browser cache and cookies for Jotform first before editing the form.
If the issue persists after doing that, Please use Firefox browser and turn off the blocking for jotform site and Square site.
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. -

Good progress...but when clicking the link to move the payment out of Sandbox mode nothing happens.

Can you please try clearing your browser's cache?
Then try to change your mode to live mode?
Please give it a try and let us know if the issue still remains.
