File upload: verify the uploaded file name for validity before submission

    Hi there,

I have a form with image upload, unfortunately many of my users are uploading an image with a faulty file name for use in my database. (ex. IMG1234 (2).JPG) This faulty file naming is being done on the users side and puts a damper on my whole workflow.

Is it possible to catch this kind of poor submission and stop the user from proceeding until they upload a proper file?

I'd rather catch this at submission, rather than setup a process for fixing it later.

    Please help!

Sorry, but currently there is no option to verify the uploaded file name using the File upload field element. As of now, you will have to make the changes after the form is submitted.

I'll forward this as a feature request to our back end team to check if this can be implemented. Please note that at this moment we will not be able to provide an ETA, but we will keep you posted on updates.
