Date Reservation Widget: select a date multiple times

    We now have a new issue:  there are multiple dates in July, August, September that are not available to be chosen via the widget.  

    Should I start a separate thread for this issue?  Thanks in advance for your help.

    I have checked your form submissions and it seems those dates have been selected already.

    However, some dates are not in the submission data.

    I have cleared your form cache.

    Can you please try updating your widget

    and let us know if the issue still remains?

    Hello--Thanks for the quick response.  I did as you instructed and the same dates remain unavailable.  

    This widget is intended to allow my employees to  request time off.  It is likely that some dates will be requested by more that one employee.  Does this widget not allow for this type of utilization?

    If I understood your requirement, do you wish to allow multiple users to select the same date? Unfortunately, it is not possible with the Date Reservation widget. You cannot select the same date multiple times. However, we can forward a feature request if you like, please let us know.

    Alternative widgets that you can use are Multi-Select Gride and Appointment Slot widgets. Let us know if one of the widgets will work for you. If you need any help setting up the widget, we will be glad to assist you.

    Thanks so much. I'll change the form and see if the widgets you recommend work for our needs. 

    Again, just to be clear, each employee will probably not be selecting the same dates multiple times; however, among all my employees, more than one may request the same day, and they all do need to be able to request any day of the year off. So effectively, we could have several people asking for a specific day off, and that's a functionality I would need from one of these widgets.

    Unfortunately the date reservation widget can only store 1 date entry.

    I have forwarded this to our developers as a feature request.

    Do note that we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be added or will it be implemented however, we will keep you posted via this thread.

    For the time being, you may try my colleague's suggestions.

    Hi There


    Has this progressed in anyway? as we need this module working on more than 1 date entry. It's inevitable that people will want to select the same date range for other purposes such as holiday forms etc.. Also it seems you have many people wanting this and yet i don't think nothing has been done?...

    Hello,

    I have checked the ticket and it has been assigned to our developers however, we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be added or will it be passed.

    You may try using Appointment slot widget or the gift registry widget and add the dates manually.

    Unfortunately, those apps are nothing to do with our requests/specifications.
    Jotform has failed to provide a simple calendar with a selector for multiple-users. I'm seriously considering going to one of the other form providers, who has all this stuff figured out. I cannot use a form now for holiday requests. With all the good form templates you do not have any proper calendar entries for multiple bookings.
