No, deleting the fields won't delete the field in the online Form. You can customize the PDF from the old or new PDF editor. Since you have a old PDF editor so you can edit the PDF from the editor itself.

    Thanks.

As much as i tried, every time i deleted a field or text form the PDF editor it also got removed form the actual form.

So does the warning before deleting state:

'It will also be deleted form your web form'

    Please advise

    We apologize for the confusion.

Please take note that there are 2 types of PDF you can create in the PDF Editor.

    1. Submission PDF document - submission data PDF report

    2. PDF Form - web form

Example, in your form PDF editor https://jotform.com/pdf-editor/91853392629367

It is correct that if you edit/modify/delete field/s in the PDF Form version it will affect the actual form.

But it will not if you are only editing/modifying the Submission PDF document of the form.

So if you were editing the PDF Form version, it will indeed affect your live web form. This is by design.

The Submission PDF is on the backend. So it will not affect your published/live form when you modify the submission PDF report/document.

I hope this clarifies the matter. Let us know if you need further assistance.
