Pipe Drive Integration: How does data is sent to the Pipe Drive integration

    Hi there,
    I wish to revisit Jotform.
    1. Can you form make a similar form as below (which is quote request form)?
Please let me know if your form can do the same when you click on "Add
Gene" button on the form below which you bring an additional set of fields.
    https://www.biomatik.com/custom-gene-synthesis-quote/
    2. One field of our form -- customer may need to copy/paste 30,000
characters into ... would it be a problem?
    3. How is the form data submitted to us -- sent to our email or sent to
Pipedrive? Can it also be sent to a Google sheet which we are built to
    collect form data?
    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hello Michael,

The field is dynamic, so I will offer our Configurable List widget again for this form.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

I believe our forms can support 30k characters. However, there this limit in the email template, so I would like to bring that up in advanced. When you will reach the limit, the form email will be cut off. In this case, we recommend the PDF.

Yes, the form can send an email, but since you are submitting 30k characters multiply that to the number of sections added in the form, you will surely hit the limit so I would suggest adding or creating a standard email template that would notify you of a new submission in the form. In the template is the link to view the direct submission or get the PDF version.

We do not have a PipeDrive integration, unfortunately. But we integrate with Google Sheets.

Guide for Google Spreadsheet Integration: https://www.jotform.com/help/228-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Google-Spreadsheet

I'm trying to create a demo form for you. However, I see that the dynamic field has conditions which our configurable list widget does not support.

Thanks - can you please point out those "conditions" on our dynamic field?
We may be able to design a different way to solve the issue.

Here's the direct form https://form.biomatik.com/embed-gene-synthesis-quote-form. I meant the following sections, see screenshot:

It's when you choose Yes in the Codon Optimization and choose Custom Cloning Vector in the Cloning fields.

We do need those "conditions" for customers to choose from. Any workaround?

With configurable list widget, you may not use conditional logic to show/hide fields within. However, as a workaround, you can use two separate fields. E.g. Radio button and Short text entry in this case.

Look at the two fields in the animated video below. First one is a configurable list which cannot manipulate other fields when values are changed, whereas, the other one at the bottom can show/hide fields based on the radio button selection. This is possible using 2 separate fields.

You can clone my demo form to see how conditional logic is used. https://form.jotform.com/92047380803960

I hope this helps. Feel free to get in touch should you have further concerns.

Good to know. Do I need to apply the same workaround for Cloning field and
    Vector field? If yes, how?
Depending on the selection of Cloning field, you will see that - the Vector
field shows different options for customers to be filled out.

Yes, you can apply same method for Cloning and other fields. When you use a conditional logic to show or hide fields, this gives more options to control the whole flow on form. Here is one more detailed help guide: How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer

We will be glad to assist if you need more help, just let us know.

I see that Jotform has integration with Highrise and Hotspot CRM ... do you
know if you will have integration with Pipedrive CRM anytime soon?

Hello there - further to my email below - I do see that you have
    integration with Pipedrive:
    https://www.jotform.com/apps/category/crm
Is there any limitation in this integration?
If I have over 20 fields on a form, will it all sync to Pipedrive?

To be able to integrate with the PipeDrive please check this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/580-How-to-integrate-JotForm-with-Pipedrive

Yes, if you create 20 fields on the Form you would be able to map the fields in the integration.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

If a customer submits a form with 5 custom made desks and each desk comes
with 4 spec fields (by using Jotform's Configurable list). Will Jotform
receive and create 5 records (for 5 desks, each record comes with 4 spec
fields), or it would only receive and create one record with 5x4 fields?

It should create one record with different fields.

Let me test by creating a test Pipedrive account. We will get back to you in some time.

    Thanks.

I have gone ahead and created a Pipedrive account. You can map more than 20 fields and each row you add in the Configurable List, it gets added in a single record in the Pipedrive deal.

Thanks. On this configurable list, let's assume each row contains 10
fields, and a customer fills out 5 rows (5 products). It means there will
be 5x10 fields in total submitted to Pipedrive. Did you mean all these 5
products (5x10 fields) will be added as one single record in the Pipedrive?

As depicted in my screenshot, I had 5 fields and I have added 3 rows in the widget so all will get recorded in a single record:

Pipe Drive Integration: How does data is sent to the Pipe Drive integration Image 10

As you can see there are "one", "two", "three" data in a single record.

My Configurable list looks like this:
