My understanding is that you want to pass an email address to a hidden email field. And when the user submitted the form, the email address on that hidden email field will receive a confirmation email.

First, you need to insert an email field to your form and then hide it.

After that, capture the Unique Name of the field in the Properties > Advanced tab > Field Details. Paste it on a notepad because you'll need it later.

On the webpage where the form is embedded, you need to add a prepopulate parameter in the URL. Here's an example:

    http://www.website.com/contact.html?hiddenEmail7=john@email.com

[Website URL] [Unique Field Name] [Value you want to pass to the field]

For more information about prepopulating fields via URL, please check this guide: Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters

Once you're done, you can create an autoresponder email and the recipient should be the hidden email field. Here's an example:

I created a hidden email value in this form:
    https://form.jotform.com/92132121437143
    the unique name is "email8"
    field ID is "input_8"
if the email value I would like to pass is "admin@mybrightchoices.com"
    what would the string be?

    Virus-free.
