We would like to share a form with some clients (already jotform users) but only with them. We don't want the possibility from them to send the form with any other people. We're using the "Publish" option, not the collaborative one.

Is there any safer way of sharing forms?

UPDATE (August 20, 2019): Password protection feature is available now.

    Here is how it works:

    1. Open the Form Builder and find the Enable Password Protection option under the Settings tab.

    2. If you select this option, you should set a password for the form. If you don't set any password, the Enable Password Protection option will be unselected.

    3. When you set a password for the form, a person who wants to open the form will see this page:

    4. If the person enters the incorrect password, s/he cannot open the form and will see this warning:

    5. If the person enters the correct password, s/he can open the form and submit it. However, if you (form owner) change the password after s/he opened the form, s/he cannot submit the form and will see this warning:

    6. You can reset the password by clicking on the RESET PASSWORD button or unchecking the Enable Password Protection option.

    Hi!

Currently, you are able to share your forms with other Jotform users by using our mobile app or going through the password workaround. Just follow these steps:

Download the app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android, and log in to your Jotform account. Then, select your form and tap ''Assign Form''. From there, you can share the form with other Jotform users. Keep in mind that people whom you assigned to see your form should also use the app to view the forms that you've shared with them.

To use the password workaround method:

Go to your form's settings, add a text box field and a section collapse from the the Form Elements menu. Make sure these fields are put before you add your first field.

Then, create a condition. The condition must say that if the textbox field value is equal to your chosen keyword or access code, it will show you the Form Collapse that you've added before, which will also reveal the whole form.

Please Note: The Form Collapse can be set as hidden (visibility) and its status to always open).

    Here's the final result:

Don't forget that this is not officially a password protection method, it's only a workaround. Anyone who knows how to access the page source can find the access code easily.
