You may get the values of the emoji and star rating using the Form Calculation widget.

So I am trying to give rather than get the calculation field to the star field.

I have the number, lets say it's 8 which has been calculated from the answers to other questions, and I want to copy this to the Star field so that it will display on the PDF graphically rather than a number.

Unfortunately, we cannot update or give a value to the star or emoji slider.

We can only retrieve the corresponding value.

Just thought this may have been an easy start compared to a completely new functionality.

I wanted exactly the same thing, my selfmade solution is to make 5 pictures with 1, 2, etc. yellow stars 'selected' and put them behind calculated value conditions...
Less then ... points ---> show picture 1
More then...and less than...points --> show picture 2

Etcetera. Need some extra effort, but works very well...
