Why are hidden questionnaire answers being sent to the customer?

    Hi,

We have set up forms and have hidden fields in them to create the Infusionsoft tags and such but they are being shown to the person who takes the quiz.  We obv don't want them to see those (esp since shows what is set up for pass and fail options) and don't want them to see your ad at the bottom to create their own quiz.  How do we fix both these things?

    Thanks,

    Hello there,

That is because of the default values of the fields. The fields are hidden but they are considered filled because of the default selected item(s).

You may consider removing these fields in the email template manually or remove the default selected item.

You can use the table tools to delete the specific rows including the Jotform branding in the autoresponder email. See below screenshot for example:

These fields have to be used - to trigger the tags people get when they
pass or fail the quiz - I took off the email - can you delete the rows
in the email once empty somehow?  Thanks,

    Hello,

Do you mean to delete the empty rows before it sends the copy to the users? If so, there's a 'Send on Edit' option for Email Notifications. With this feature, the Auto responder is sent when the submission is edited.

You can refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-up-an-Autoresponder-Email

Or you can create different Email Notification templates based on your user's input. You can follow this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/430-How-to-Edit-the-Email-Template-for-Notifications-and-Autoresponders.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Yeah - I don't see why one would ever enable send on edit but appreciate
    the info.  Thanks,
