How Do I Download my JotForm Submission Reports as Excel File?

Do I have to have a paid subscription to Jotform to have an Excel download option? I don't see that under my forms as an option.

No, please. The option to download reports as Excel file is available to all plans.

You can download your submission report as Excel on a free plan, although you have to always download the reports before the submission limit is reached to avoid losing previous submission records. 

To download the submission details as Excel, you should try to follow the guide you referred or try following this guide to view the submissions, and then download as Excel. If the challenge still persists, you can consider creating an Excel report for your form.
