Is this the form you are working with? https://form.jotform.com/92187854069167

I've checked the form and you have both the Multiple Choice and Single Choice element and both are working as expected.

Can you please elaborate on which portion/field you are having the issue? How is it currently behaving on your end and how are you expecting for it to behave instead?

You may also share a screenshot on the issue.

If this is not the form, please share to us the Form URL so we may assist you properly.

Please note that the Date reservation widget allows selection up to the number of dates set in the widget. Once the date is selected by a user, the same date will be blocked and cannot be selected by another user.

    1. Know what dates are weekend and weekday pricing.

You may add a Text field to the form to display the pricing structure

    2. How to enter the pricing for each of the rooms

You may assign the calculation values to the Single/Multiple choice fields as per your pricing structure.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/301-How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value

    3. Add additional charge for extra person if more than 2

    4. Add Service charge

    5. Add Sales & Room Tax  of 11.375%

You may add separate form calculation widgets for each additional charge to calculate and based on a condition set as per your requirement.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Calculation-into-a-Field-Using-Conditional-Logic

    6. Give then guests a breakdown of total

You may use the Text field again to display a table like with the calculated values.

    7. Ask for deposit and/or total depending on if they are within 14 days of arrival.

You may set a conditional calculation again on a separate form calculation field for the deposit and pass it to the payment field for processing.

Thank you for your help.  This is a struggle for me, but over time I will get it.

IF the guest marks out the dates they want on each of the two desk reservation widget,  (one for each room) can that give me the arrival & departure dates, number of rooms and number of nights for the stay or will that have to be filled out separately.?

Can I create a condition that if they don't complete the reservation with payment that the calendar will not be blocked?

I have laid out the form in the way I think it should flow, however, I am unsure and can use more feedback. I assume not everything will be shown, until the breakdown before they make the pay.

The other question how can I know whether the the amount for the dates to be charged are weekend or weekday days?

On displaying the breakdown to the guest before payment, I created the text field, but not sure I am doing it correctly.

Your help and time very much appreciated.

It seems that you are looking on creating a full pledged booking system. Unfortunately, I'm afraid though that some of your requirements might not be met. I would like to point out the following:

    1. Date Reservation widget - this allows your users to see blocked and available dates, and can select those available dates, however, if your intent is to have like a check-in/check-out, I wouldn't recommend using it since users can actually select random dates and not necessarily consecutive days.

    2. Weekday/weekend pricing - given that your users will be selecting a date range, it is not possible to determine how many are weekdays and how many are weekends

    For your questions:

IF the guest marks out the dates they want on each of the two desk reservation widget, (one for each room) can that give me the arrival & departure dates, number of rooms and number of nights for the stay or will that have to be filled out separately.?

The Date Reservation widget will give you a concatenated list of selected dates.

    eg: 2018-08-082018-08-092018-08-10

Can I create a condition that if they don't complete the reservation with payment that the calendar will not be blocked?

Based on your current setup, you are using Square payment processor which asks for payment details straight on the form. With that, if the payment details are incomplete, the form will not be submitted at all, hence, the date will not be blocked.

I have laid out the form in the way I think it should flow, however, I am unsure and can use more feedback. I assume not everything will be shown, until the breakdown before they make the pay.

We have a couple of reservation/booking templates that you can check out and compare against your form which I think can help you get more idea.

The other question how can I know whether the the amount for the dates to be charged are weekend or weekday days?

Please see point #2 above. If it is possible for you, I would suggest you create a fixed amount irregardless of whether it is a weekday or not, maybe an average, like $185 per night instead of $175 and $195.

On displaying the breakdown to the guest before payment, I created the text field, but not sure I am doing it correctly.

You're on the right track. You can just add some formatting so that it is not confusing when your users see it.

I have created a sample form which include most of your requirements. You can clone it so you can play around the setup.

You have been very helpful.  I have tried to follow your example and I can see I am getting there, but for some reason, I am not able to get the numbers to work and display. Could you tell me what I am missing please on my form.

Just wanted to add that everyone who help me was terrific. Vanessa the outline example you sent me absolutely got me to figure it out.  So far I have gotten the majority of what I needed.  Have a few more things to work out but for now will take a little break.  YEAH!!! THANKS EVERY ONE WHO HELPED!

    Hi,

If you are pertaining to the Form Calculation widget, to pass a value of a field to another field and to apply necessary computations according to your user's selection here's a detailed guide for you:

     https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-Perform-Form-Calculation-Using-a-Widget

I created a quick snip of how to pass values on Form Calculation Widget. It will show that the Number of Nights field will fetch the value of the Date Difference from the Reservation Date fields.

i.e. Number of Nights is equal to Date Difference (Reservation Date)

You can check the results on this cloned form:   https://support.jotform.com/build/92207615161956

    I hope this helps.
