How to translate the form to Chinese?

I've been asked whether this is possible by my client. I've been reading your pages and forums etc and sounds like it could work. 

I'm struggling with understanding how our translator provides the text to me. I speak English and am the main tech person who has set up the English forms they would like translated, but the translator sits in another office doing the translation.

Do I cut and paste the text they give me into the form? Or would the translator with their keyboard etc have to do that part?

My guess is I need the translator to be tech-savvy and log in and do it for me is that correct?

Sorry to ask such a basic question - but its a whole new process for me - but obviously there's a whole lot of your clients out there doing this.
