Hey there,
I'm putting together a quiz and was wondering if the following is possible.
Using the quiz app, I would like to provide a response to incorrect questions in the results page. Example:
1) 2+2 = 4
2) 2+1 = 3
3) 3+1 = 1
The results page is laid out as
1) 2+2 = 4, Correct
2) 2+1 = 3, Correct
3) 3+1 = 1, Incorrect, 3+1 does not equal 1 blah blah blah blah
Is this feasible? It's unnecessary to include responses to correctly answered questions, and will only blow up the results page when there are 30+ questions.
Thanks

You can select the "Include Correct Answer on Incorrect response. (for default results page)" option in Jotform's quiz app.
ex.
Here's also a guide about this: Turn-your-form-into-a-Quiz-or-Exam-
Let us know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance.

Hi!
I don't want to just show the correct answer, I would just like to include a response nudging them in the right direction. e.g. please review section 1.2, or, The correct answer is blah blah because the way blah works with blah.
Explainers are much more effective than just bombarding the user with correct answers.
Thanks!

You can do this in the Custom Results Page. In order to do this, you should click on "Show Results to user after submission" and then click on "Use Custom Results Page". Then you will be able to create responses for the wrong answers. Please refer to the attachment.
Please give it a try and let us know, how it works for you.
We will wait for your response.

Does that replace the correct tag? i.e. question1:correct
Or how does that tagging work?
Thanks

Hi @CanadianEMS,
I think the requirement you're trying to achieve isn't possible with the Quiz app. Let me conduct further tests and have some time to look for a possible workaround, if any, then get back to you on this thread.

Hi @CanadianEMS,
Apologies for the delay but as promised, here's a possible workaround I came up with. Here we'll not be using the Quiz app but we'll make our own customized quiz with results instead, based on your requirement.
As you can see in the form below, I created three questions as an example. Basically, there will be two pages, one for the questions and the answers, while the other one will be the results page.
So after adding all the questions, I then added three answers at the bottom, one for each question, and set them to hidden.
Now, this will be the statements that will appear on the Results page if the user's answer is correct.
But what if the user's answer is incorrect? We'll then add Update/Calculate Field conditions to change these statements, one for each question. Here's what I came up with:
This will change the texts in the Answer field if the user's answer is incorrect. So if you'll have 30 questions, you will be adding 30 conditions like these.
Now, here's what the Results page looks like:
This is a text field wherein I added form fields that were mapped to each answer fields. It will show the texts from those hidden fields. Here's how it's done:
Here's a demo form I created. Feel free to test, inspect and see if it fits your requirement:
