I'm looking to see if Jotform is capable of doing a datalist style dropdown before moving to a paid plan, but I'm not finding the option in the form elements.
Basically I want the search bar where it will search options in the dropdown, and allow for the user to submit an option that isn't in the dropdown.
see here for more info https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_datalist.asp

Thank you for contacting us, we have a dropdown widget that allows the user adding an option that is not listed, and this option will be available for the next users who access the form. It is called "User Contributed Dropdown" https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/user_contributed_dropdown
We also have a widget called "Auto Complete" which will display the listed options as the user types in, and also lets the user put their own value, but it will not be part of the default options: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/autocomp
Please follow this guide to add a widget in an existing form: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-Your-Form
