We're wondering if we're doing something in a not-perfect way. When we run a survey like this, we will be tabulating the results when it's over.

Our question is -- how could we easily tabulate the results (vs taking into Excel and having to manually count, or run filters)? Or should we be using a different module type in the first place, and that other module type would allow us to tabulate the results quickly?

The Report feature in JotForm lets you generate various reports on submission data and share it with others.
We have a detailed help guide that explains each report and you can choose whichever fits your needs.

Please review the guide, decide which report best fits your requirement, create a report. If you need assistance while creating it, feel free to contact us.

got this .... thank you ... here is what we learned -- use Basics, not Widgets.
the JotForm Reporting would be fine, but we used a Widget that doesn't work with Reports. So we rebuilt the form with a Basic module that was very similar, and now the reporting works way better.
thank you.

Yes, widgets are currently not optimized for reporting. We recommend the basic fields if reporting of the data - in charts or tables would be required in the form backend.
