Editing submissions and google sheet integration

    Hi

I have a google sheet integration for my forms which works well. But I want to edit submissions in jotform before they are sent to the google sheet.

    Is it possible to:

    1) Delay sending to the google sheet

    2) Only send stuff to the google sheet once it has been flagged or by using some other method within jotform

    3) Resend content to google sheet once edited

    4) Some other way I haven't thought about without using API (but I realise API might be the only option).

    Thanks

Unfortunately, there is no option to delay or to add any other process once the form is submitted. For every click of the submit button, all current form data is directly synced to Google Sheets. This goes the same with submission edits, once the form is edited, it is synced again automatically.

So with submission edits, does it resend it to the sheets?

    Yes it will.

However, just to answer common questions

    - It will simply update the same row for the same submission

    - Submission Date will remain the same as the original submission date

    - No highlight or indication will be shown in the sheets if a row is updated, you can refer to the email notification for an indication that submission was edited
