What is the proper way to collect new sign up information?

 I run a IT customer service Support for my customers that wish to subscribe to additional monthly support for our home automation products we sell. What is the proper way to collect new sign up information such as username and password information via jotforms? My goal is to stay compliant. Thank you for your time in advance.

Sorry, but as per our Terms of Use, we do not allow collecting username/password information via your forms.

Collecting Sensitive Information. You may not use the JotForm Service to collect certain types of sensitive information, including but not limited to, credit card information and any type of login credentials.
