We would want to validate email addresses and telephone numbers

I just read an article from 2010 that you can validate Facebook forms through yourselves. We would want to validate email addresses and if possible tel numbers.

Is this something that can be done?

This blog explains how you can embed a form on your Facebook page. If you want to insert your form to your Facebook page, please check this guide: Adding-a-Contact-Form-to-Your-Facebook-Page.

The form itself can require fields so that the user cannot submit the form if the field is blank. Here's a guide: How-to-Set-a-Field-as-Required-or-Non-Required.

We do have a widget called E-mail Validator. This widget makes sure that a valid email is used on your form through a passcode verification process. Here's a guide: How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-Your-Form.

If you want to validate a phone number, then you can use the SMS Confirmation widget. In this widget, your form users will receive a text or call with a verification number.
