Configurable List: Can I add a text box if 'other' is selected from the dropdown field?

Hi,

Is it possible to add a text box when 'other' is selected from the drop down breed selection? This will enable the customer to type in the specific cat breed.

Unfortunately, that is not possible to achieve within the Configurable List widget. I can only suggest you to add one more text box field to the widget, for the "other" Breed. This field will always be shown. 

Or you can use basic form fields instead of the Configurable List widget.
