AutoComplete Widget: The default value is not displayed in form preview mode

    Hello,

    The auto-complete widget default value does not seem to be working.

    Repro.

    (1) Scroll down to - Invoice Sponsor - INVOICE FORM - (auto-complete widget).

    (2) Click Gear button and enter some Default Value into sidebar box. I used UG.

    (3) The Default Value appears in the WYSIWYG editor, but not on Preview Form.

    (4) Further, Default Value is gone from sidebar box when re-open form (after clicking Back to My Forms).

    Other values seem to be stored correctly (I tried Sub Label).

    Config. Windows X and (current) Chrome browser.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    The Autocomplete widget seems to work well on my end, please check my screencast below.

    If you want to display a default value in that field, you will need to enter the value in the "Default Value" option of the Autocomplete widget:

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion.

    I have tried to enter UG into the Default Value before.

    But the Default Value (a) does not show up in Preview and (b) is gone when I re-open the form.

    You're right. The default value does not work when you preview the form in published mode.

    I have now elevated this issue to the next level support so that they can investigate the problem. We will notify you here and on your email at once when a status update is available.

    This is fixed now.

    Please kindly add a default value again and then save your form.
