Video Recording Widget for Desktop

This is only will work if the end user is filling out the form on mobile. There is actually no way to record video in desktop forms using this approach. It only brings up the "file browser" - the usual behavior. When will you be adding a video recording option?

That's right, the guide is categorized under the Mobile Forms since it works best for the mobile device. Unfortunately, we do not have yet a widget that records video directly from the desktop camera but I'll escalate this as a feature request for possible future implementations.

For now, you will have to consider the file upload field so users can record locally and then upload it to your form. This is typically the proper way without losing the quality of the video.
