    Forms look different.

    Asked by smc9696 on March 30, 2011 at 03:15 PM

    I have 2 forms total and after I put them in the same frontpage code, they look different. I can't see the boxes in 1 form.

    Form that looks good.

    Form that I can't see the entry boxes.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I don't beleive the coding is wrong in my HTML, it's something with the form.

    Thank you,
    Shaun

    Hi Shaun,

    It looks like some CSS clash is making the input boxes difficult to see.  I have injected some CSS to give them a border for you and it looks ok when I go directly to the form.

    Can you try to re-embed the form into your page please?  It should display correctly now.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Hey Shaun,

    I found this piece of CSS code in your stylesheet styles.css :

    * {
        border0 none;
        margin0;
    }

    Basically it removes any border on all elements of your page that is why your textboxes look invisible - the borders were removed.
    Delete the first line above from your stylesheet. Keep the 2nd line, I found out that removing it messes up the position of other elements such as the footer.

    Regards,
    Neil

    Hello-

    Yep, that worked. I deleted the border: 0 none; line and everything looks good now.

    I will definitely use you again!!

    Thank you,

    Shaun
