Questions about PayPal money processing

Hi. I just created my first form which is an online order form for tshirt orders for a school fundraiser. My form has the option for payment through credit card and PayPal. I haven't published the form yet, but I'm curious how we will receive the payment information for both credit cards and PayPal? Will we need to process these ourselves and the form just records the information that we later process?  Do we link our form with a PayPal account that PayPal payments go directly into?

Any information you can give about what payment information we will receive and what we have to do after receiving it to charge our customers will be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Bria

    Hello Bria,

Your users have the option to pay via credit card and via their PayPal account. Once they pay using either options, the amount paid will be sent to your PayPal account.

If you have integrated and connected the PayPal account correctly in your form, then you do not need to process. PayPal will process the payment, while the form submission will be recorded in your JotForm account. Once PayPal processes the payment, you will receive the amount in your PayPal account.

Please note that you will need to integrate and connect the relevant PayPal payment field into your form before accepting payments via your forms.

Here's a guide to integrate PayPal Checkout in your form: How-to-Integrate-Form-to-PayPal-Checkout

    Hope this answers your query.
