Set up an account for a non-profit

    Hello.

I am looking to use Jotforms for our local cubscout den. I'm trying to figure out how I should set up the initial account prior to requesting the non profit discount.

The way the non profit status is set up is that the cubscout den is sponsored by a church which holds the non-profit status. So our bank accounts are in the name of the church with a DBA of our cubscout den.
We plan to use the jotform to streamline our dues collection process.

My question is should I set everything up initially as the church or can I do it as the cubscout den?

    Thanks
    Jason

    Hi Jason!

You will have to create your account under the name of the church. Once you have created the account you will then need to apply for the Non-Profit Discount.

    Thanks for the reply.
I went ahead and signed up.
I contacted the church for a 990 form. Their accountant said since they are
a religious organization, they are exempt from filing a 990.
    How would we proceed?
    Thanks
    Jason

If you are not able to submit 990 form, you can upload any other documents which prove your non-profit status as the file upload field is required and you cannot submit the form without uploading the documents.
