PayPal Checkout: Logging in to Sandbox account via mobile device's web browser

    At test mode, when I press the connect button, I am redirected to paypal
    instead of sandbox paypal login page.

    Can you try to check if the following steps would solve the issue you are having, please?

    1. Try to clear the data of the browser before logging in to your PayPal Checkout (Sandbox) account.

    2. In the integration, please try to switch the "Environment" option to "Live Mode" first and then switch back to "Test Mode" right after before clicking the "Connect with PayPal" button.

    Thank you for confirming that you are now being redirected to the PayPal Sandbox login page.

    If the integration is failing to connect, please make sure that you are trying to log in a merchant account (seller) in the integration and it should be a Business Pro type of account. In the screenshot you shared, I see that you are logging in a PayPal account with a Gmail email address. Was that the account you created in your PayPal Developer account?

    Hi Mike,


    My sandbox account is a Buyer (so the type is Personal), should I create a Seller sandbox account (type Business)?

    Why "Pro", the integration is Paypal, not Paypal Pro?

    Sandbox business account keeps failing in android chrome, i will try on desktop.

    Please note that to use PayPal checkout payment tool, you need PayPal business account otherwise the integration won't work. Please create seller sandbox account and see if that solves your problem.
