If I write a note for a particular patient in several different forms, how can I search for them, cohesively, without going folder by folder? I tried in search and I couldn't do it.
thanks. Minal.

In the submission page, you can use the search bar to find the patient data and the note you're looking for.
Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

I have many forms. Say I write a note for one particular patient, “SUE” in “form A” AND “form B”.
Where can I get it to show me all forms filled out for SUE, without me having to go to Form A submissions to see if one is there, and Form B submissions to see if one is there.
Thanks.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Sorry, but at the moment JotForm does not support this feature. The only option would be to search from individual form's submission page.
Let me escalate this as a feature request so that our developers could consider adding new search options. We will not be able to provide an ETA at the moment, but we will keep you posted on updates via this thread.
Meanwhile, as an alternative, I would suggest to try using our "Combine Submissions" app to combine the submissions of all your forms which will download a CSV file. You can then search in this CSV file.
