How to have responses and loop/repeat questions?

    Hello,

I am trying to develop an online order form for my small business where clients select options to customize a bag. Basically, the customer will make a bag type selection at the beginning and I have some conditions for options included. I'd like to include an option to add another item at the bottom (before submission) which, when selected, would save the information already entered and then loop the client back to the customization questions again (now blank) to enter new information for another customization.

I am still working on the form, but as it is now, I am not able to create a form that generates a single order form for multiple bags and keep the customizations grouped/sorted.

I'd prefer to not simply duplicate and hide/show several fields since that seems to make the form clunky and also put a limit on the number of items someone can order.

I came across a thread from a few years ago where someone had the exact same question as me, but I was not able to view the resolution to the issue. Can you help me please?

Here is the link to my form: https://www.jotform.com/build/92618198711161

    Thank you so much!

Before looping the customer back to the customization options again, wouldn't you submit the form? Only then the chosen customization will be recorded as a submission. However, there is an option in your Thank you page settings, where you can loop the customer back to the same form to enter new customizations.

You just need to Edit the Thank you page, select the "Redirect to external link" option and enter your Form URL.

Is this how you want to achieve the requirement?

    Hi gerardw,

Thank you for your reply and the screenshot!

No, I do not want the customer to submit the form before doing another customization because that results in multiple form submissions for a single order and it makes it more cumbersome for both of us. Id like to set it up such that the customer is able to make multiple customizations that's not limited by the number of times i duplicate the questions, and then submit a single form so that they receive a single customization and pricing information.

For example, once they have entered the information for one product, they could select 'yes' to a question about wanting to customize an additional item and this selection would bring them back to the first step in customization process. I'd like them to be able to repeat this process for as many times as they'd like and then upon selecting 'no' or 'ready to submit', they can continue to review and submit a single form.

Thanks so much for looking into this. I feel like there must be a way to do this :-)

I hate to say this but unfortunately, there's no other easier solution to achieve that in the form builder other than what you've mentioned by duplicating the same fields and show/hide them depending on the user's requirement. This is easier when you are working on a classic form since you can group the fields using Section Collapse field and show/hide them at once.

I'm thinking of using the Configurable List Widget for repeating the same fields by simply clicking a button but this doesn't support fields with image previews like what you're currently using. You can only use native fields on this widget like dropdown, checkbox, the radio button for selections.
