Why isn't the embedded form showing on my page?

I have just tried to use this feature.

When I turn it on, my embedded form no longer displays on my website.

Does this feature work with embedded html code?

Does it change the code, and so do I need to update the code on my site if I set a password?

I have been testing the password protection feature and it works with an embedded form. Please kindly try re-embedding the form again and see if that works, in case it does not, share us the link to the page where we can find the form.

Hi. I've just setup a clone of my form on a separate url and activated your password protect feature.

The same error is occurring. This url is the direct link to the page where the HTML embed code is inserted.

    https://optimallife.net.au/forms/intake-form-test-password-protected-jotform/

If you navigate from the main forms page on my site located here: https://optimallife.net.au/forms/  you will find near the top of the page content 2 buttons (see attached image below) - one for the current live form with NO password protection (even though it says password protected on the button) which displays fine when you click through

The other is the 'test' button I've set up which navigates to the above URL with the password protect enabled and only shows my header and footer.

    Hi @Benflips,

You were right. The password-protected form seems not to appear on your site using the regular script embed.

Can you please try embedding the form via the iframe method? Please refer to this guide on Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code.

Please try that and let us know how it goes.

The iframe method does work just in a HTML widget.

But the password protect feature is solid black and the iframe extends for a very long distance down the page.

Is there something that can be done about it's appearance, the message on it and the vertical 'height' of the password protect black screen?

I have been performing some tests and it seems like it's possible to change the height of the initial screen, please kindly try doing the following:

    - Get the iFrame embed code from the publish wizard and change the height to something like "522px":

Please note that you will need to copy and paste the code in a text editor.

Here's a page where I changed the height and it seems to have worked, it's a cloned version of your form: https://shots.jotform.com/kevin/Content/Files/1988686/

    The password is "test123".

     I hope this helps.

That appears to work nicely. Thank you.

Is is possible to change the colour of the black screen behind the password entry?

It's good to know that the issue with the height is now resolved.

With regard to your additional query, I have moved it to a separate thread so we could assist you better on that topic.

I will be posting my response on this link below shortly:
