When I try to change my Account Settings, such as my Profile, a dialogue box pops up, asking again for my User Name and Password, but then freezes on me, and goes nowhere.

I am in the midst of taking over someone else's account (via their permission) ... I have their Email address and Password ... but then the dialogue box is asking for "User name" and "password" ... I think I know the User name, but could the Password be DIFFERENT?
