    Re: Conditions Rules

Asked by ipgflorida on March 31, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Currently on my form I have many sets of conditions. However, if you click "Expedia" then it will hide everyfield except for one field. In my other rule I made it so that if they click Tour Operator, None of the choices (not actually a choice in the field), or Third Party, that the form will simply only hide one field, but it will display the rest of the fields.

HOWEVER, here is the really odd part about the conditions that I can not get my head around. I made another separate rule stating that if they click "Directing Booking" that it will show everyfield except it will hide two fields. Although, when I make this rule it won't place the rule into action and it will simply only do what the rule of "Expedia" does. Can you please tell me how I can get my conditions working properly so that if someone clicks Direct Booking that it will display everything except for "My products.." and "Since you have booked with..."? If you can not tell me can you please simply do it as I have tried EVERY combination of conditions to get this to work, and nothing is working. I am assuming it is a coding glitch, and that you can please get this fixed asap?

I currently haven't added the rule for direct booking as if I do it will realllyyy mess the form up.

    Thank You

I have cloned your form and made changes, please feel free to clone it if you want.

What I did was I removed the condition for Direct Booking which you currently grouped with Tour Operator and Other (a third party website) and made a new condition just for it.

    Hope this helps. Thank you.

I appreciate your reply, however your form doesn't fix my issue, and the way you tried to resolve it didn't fix it either. If you could please take a look at my form as the way it is: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/30824948290965

I want my form to function JUST like the way it is right now, HOWEVER I want it so that if someone were to click Direct Booking, they would NOT see "my products" but they would see everything else as the way it currently is. That is the only change I want to be done. I have made an entire new condition as you stated, for direct booking, but if I do that it will mess the rest of my form up. This is why I am saying that I believe there is an actual glitch with JotForm coding.

If you, or anyone else on this form, can fix/resolve my issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

Hi Jamie, please take a look at this form I've created to correct this and clone it back if it meets your needs as you've requested -

You will notice that when " Direct Booking " is selected your My Products only then becomes unseen as you requested. I did this by adding in an additional condition to make the form hide this field when the condition is met by checking the box for direct booking.
