my auto-responder is not working, how do i make sure the thank you letter is going to new people

    we made an auto respond for people who sign up on our website but for some reason its going to the same email address we use for the "test email" how can i fix it so the person who just signed up and gave their email information will receive our auto-response leter?

    I do not see any autoresponders on your form. May we know the name of the form in question? Also, here's a guide on how to setup autoresponders. Creating a Form Autoresponder.

    we use this form in the picture i just sent. its still only sending to one email. when is should go as an auto response to people who fill out the form in the following picture

    We have used your services for an extended period of years however we cannot fix the problem with the autores-ponderas all welcome letters are coming back to me!!! at rminority@rocketmail.com. For 2 weeks we have potentially lost customers and traffic to our website!

    @minorityrecruit

    I checked your account and out of all forms in your account, i checked two forms which has submissions. I dont see that you have set any auto-responders configured in your form. Probably, thats the reason your customers are not receiving emails on form submissions. 

    The reason you get all the emails because the notifications are set to send emails to your email id.

    Please follow these steps to setup autoresponder in your form:

    1. Open your form on the Edit mode.

    2. Click on "Setup and Embed tab,

    3. Click on "Email Alerts",

    4. Click on "Add New Email" and ,

    5. Then select Autoresponder,

    6. On the right bottom side, (recipient address) select the form question that asks user to enter an email address,

    7. Finish and Save your form.

    The set up and embed step will not allow me to go to email alerts only form style. i have tried to update under form style and it keeps defaulting to my email is there a phone # I can reach you on. Can you call me . I am highly frustrated we are loosing business.

    Hey Stephen, at this time we do not currently offer phone support however, we will assist you here as best we can with this issue to help you get it resolved.

    If you follow the Instructions to make an Autoresponder as directed you will see that you can only access Email Creation from the Setup & Embed Tab, the Form Style Tab does not show this which is why you are unable to access it.

     

    I did find though that it looks like you are eventually able to create an 2 Autoresponders so you should remove 1 of them so that it doesn't send out duplicates. It looks okay except for the " Your E-Mail " should either be the email address you want to show up for it being sent from though it is highly advised that you use our default which is " NOREPLY@JOTFORM.COM " to prevent Autoresponder being Recieved by the user problems such as it being falsely detected as spam. This is mentioned in Step 5 of the Autoresponder Setup Guide.
