What is the difference between 100 submissions vs 10 ssl secure submissions? Would I be able to receive the submission through my email?

    Hi Josein,

100 Submissions - Is a limit for free users monthly. This uses http (non-ssl) form e.g. http://www.jotform.com/form/1234567890. When your form user submits the form, it will be counted as normal submissions.

10 SSL Submissions - This uses https (secure form) e.g. https://secure.jotform.com/form/1234567890. When you use secure form, data will be transmitted to the server securely and submisions will be counted as SSL Submisions. Limits for free users is 10 SSL Submissions per month.

Both submissions normal or SSL, you will be able to receveid notifications to your email. Here's how you can find out what email address is used for form submissions. Finding out E-mail Address used for submission notifications

Hope this clarifies a bit. Feel free to message us if you have further questions. Thank you!

I dont get this. If I have 100 monthly submissions, why I recieved a mail telling me that im over 10SSL quota, and my forms will be disabled tomorow? They have only 10 submissions...what about the rest of it? (90)

The Limits has been noted to our Pricing Page: http://www.jotform.com/pricing. You may also consider upgrading your account to our Paid Plans to have a higher submission limits.

I am new to this service and just set up my account today. The testing I did on my form (I only have one), used up 7 of the 10 SSL submissions. Unfortunatenly I did not read the fine print here and thought I had 100 free submissions.

Is there any way to reset this at this point?

Also, I am curious about why SSL submissions are 1/10th of other submissions. Does jotform have to pay their cert provider for each of the submissions? I'm also wondering how the cost of your service would compare to just getting a cert for my own site. It surely would be cheaper than $10/month and I would have unlimited use of that cert. How are your fees established?

Great product by the way! I just hope I can justify the cost to use it when I can get a cert for less than half the cost of your lowest fee package. It would be hard to convince management to put out the extra bucks.

    Please advise, Thanks.

    Hello Wakeforest,

I have manually reset your SSL counter to zero. Please be informed that we can reset the counter only once per account.

I am not sure about why the SSL submissions are 1/10th of non secure submissions. It can only be answered by higher management and other strategist of company. I am sure paid subscriptions are required to keep up the services at this level with state of the art infrastructure, regular enhancements keeping the user's demand and quality support.

If you buy a SSL certificate for your domain and try to embed a non secure form in your web page, it will give your security warning and the form will not be visible in most of the browsers.

To avoid this from happening again, you should stop using the secure forms urls and secure embed scripts should be replaced by non secure embed scripts.

    Thank you!
