How to take check box values and input them into an order-able list

Hi, I would first like to have users to select options from a multiple check box question. So the user can check 1-5 options depending on what's relevant to them. Then on the next question I would like the user to rank/order those things depending on how important they are to them.

For example, the first question could say "Select all types of foods you like" and then have check boxes for: Pizza, Noodles, Steak, Cake, Chicken. Let's say I choose Noodles, Pizza, and Steak. Then the next question will take those three selections and create an orderable list out of them. So it will ask me to order them from 1 to 3 ( 1 being the food I like the most). And then I could order them: 1. Steak, 2. Pizza, 3. Noodles. But it won't show me anything other than the 3 foods I selected in the first question.

Is this possible to do on jotforms?

I technically could do this by creating orderable lists for all POSSIBLE combinations of options and then only showing the relevant ones, but I am hoping to not have to do that. I'm looking for a way to take the check box answers and automatically input them as values to the orderable list. I've tried the update/calculate field but it didn't seem to work.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use conditions to populate the order list widget.

You would have to use the order list widget and the field options manually.

    Hope this information helps.
