Recommendation for improvement to dropdown properties widget

In my form, mobile users have the option to select more than one section from the dropdown menu to view by way of clicking a check box(es). However, checkboxes are not displayed to users in the dropdown menu for pc users. Instead, PC users must hold down the Ctrl key on their keyboard while making multiple selections. Would be nice if PC users were presented the same display option(s) as mobile users = a menu of check box options.

That cannot be achieved with basic dropdown field, but we have the Checkbox in Dropdown widget, that you can use instead.
