    Is it possible to use edit link to edit a form if the orginal form was

    Is it possible to use edit link to edit a form if the orginal form was embedded in a website? I would like to have people receive the edit link and be redirected to my website to edit the form as they initially filled it out.

    This is a re-post of a comment on

    Hi Justin,

    It is not quite clear to me if what you meant is -- to be able to edit the form, using its edit link within a page.. meaning the form will open as embedded form again. (please clarify if this not what you meant)

    I think you can achieve this if you put the edit link within an iframe on the page.

    Then set the edit link target within that iframe of the page also. Normally, when you just click on the regular edit link, it will open a page where the form can be edited. But since, you are redirecting the link within the iframe, in theory I think the form will open just like it is embedded in the page.

    Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Yes, I want it to open as an embedded form again.

    I wasn't sure what you meant by put edit link within an iframe.

    I am currently using the following iframe code. Any suggestions?

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="https://secure.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=30896564015963&sid={id}&mode=edit" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:2850px; border:none;" scrolling="no">

    I think the other problem is the redirecting url.

    What would the url be that carries the specific SID to the embedded form. I want to embed in my website, let's say url is www.acecheer.net and the current jotform edit link url is https://secure.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=30896564015963&sid={id}&mode=edit

    Something you could alternatively try is using the " edit_link " option via an autoresponder which will send your users and Editible Link containing all the necessary parameters for them to update this information via your form and resubmit it. This is the reason that guide has depreciated. Additionally if your form is already embedded on your website this should not affect that either.
