Background image (URL) switches to color

    Hi support team!

    Great product, thanks for that.

    I have a question:

    I used the XXL form theme for my form to make it best usable, readable and clickable on an iPad. Works great and I want to reuse the default background image on my custom Thank you page as well. However when looking up the URL for the background (in the Preferences pane), the image switches to a black color as soon as I click the field for background URL. Color of the background is then switched to black as well. Undo-ing the last action reverses it, but in some way I think something is not entirely right. Can you help me with that?

    I now realize that I have a second question:

    When using the form on an iPad, it works perfectly in Landscape mode, but when switched to portrait, the form does not resize to the right dimensions, making the form scrollable (in width) and un-zoomable. Thus very unhandy to use...

    Is there an easy way to fix this in CSS?

    This is my form:

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards,

    Emile van den Ende

    Hi there,

    For your "Thank You" page you can include the following code within the <head></head> tags:

    <style type="text/css">

        body, html{

            margin:0;

            padding:0;

            background:url(http://support.jotform.com/images/big-back.png) repeat-x rgb(241, 241, 241);

        }

    </style>

    That will give you the background from the XXL theme. You can find this on the Source Code of your form.

    As per having the form resize whenever the orientatino of the tablet changes, you can inject the following CSS:

    .form-all, .form-section, .form-section-closed {width:100%;}

    Here is clone of your form as a sample:

    Let us know if that helps!

    Hi Eduardo,

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    Setting the background for the Thank you page, can that also be done by using the adjusted thank you message (3rd option in the Thank you dialog)? I have tried to put in the styling into the custom HTML editor, but this is commented out automatically...

    I intend to use this option, as I really like the way it works (instead of creating my own thank you page).

    Wrt the CSS injection; this works like a charm, thanks a lot!

    Kind regards,

    Emile
