Error message with payments in Square Sandbox mode

    I am trying to test a form in Sandbox Mode with Square.  Square is connected and set to 'Test Mode,' but when I complete the form and submit the payment, I get an error message that reads:

    Error when calling Transaction: [HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found] {"errors":[{"category":"INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR","code":"NOT_FOUND","detail":"Card nonce not found in this application environment. Please ensure an application ID belonging to the same environment is used to generate the nonce."}]}

    FYI--I am using the following pseudo-credit card info:

    Card number    4111 1111 1111 1111
    Expiration date    12/21
    CVV    111

    You will also need to toggle Test Mode in the Additional Gateway Settings options. See below:

    The same test credentials should work once you do that.

    Even with the additional gateway settings updated as advised, with the square connection re-authorized and all settings saved, I am still receiving the same error message.

    It is not set that way, I just checked. Can you please verify? When you toggle this option to Yes, you will be asked to connect your Square account again at the top.

    I followed this thread to solve the same issue. Welvin, you are absolutely right. I toggle it to "Yes", then I sign in again to my Square account. But then I try to save it, and it doesn't save. When I reload the page, it is back, reversed to where it was before. Do you have any advice?
