Why my account is suspended?

    I used google to sign up, I was having a go at creating my first form and it kicked me out. Now I cannot sign back in. I have tried using a different browser and even going into in private browsing. I dont get any errors, I click on sign in with Google, an apparent 'login' screen appears for a second and then disappears again and i am back on the same screen I cannot access my forms or anything.

    Your account was suspended because your form is collecting Passwords from the users which are against our Terms of Use.

    Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your Jotform Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

    I have now removed the password field and re-activated your account. Please refrain from doing this as it is against our terms of use.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you for looking into this but...

    You have a problem, I used one of your templates. It was included on the template. I'm going to take a breath and maybe try again.

    I did not start from scratch, and I did not add that field in myself.

    I appreciate that it might not be one created by jotform, but that is a significant problem, one that you need to address one way or another.

    One other note on this, this is a request to create a new user on an IT system, in this particular case, it is not unreasonable for us to ask if they want a specific password to be used to set up the account.

    Thank you for reporting to us. I forwarded the form template to our reviewers team for further checking. We will notify you as soon as we get an update.

    However, as per our terms, it is not allowed to collect user login information in any case. The form with the password field flagged as phishing and our Phishing Detector Tool will automatically suspend the account.
