    Print Today's date on autoresponder mail

    Asked by sacredsmile on April 03, 2013 at 07:57 AM

    Hi. I have made a diploma-autoresponder-mail. Normally, diplomas have date and signature at the bottom. That's why I would like to print today's date in the bottom of the diploma. I tried to put a javascript in the html for this, but the javascript is erased. Is there any other way to do this?

    Yes. One non-JavaScript way would be as follows:

    1. Insert a Date/Time field into the form:

    (It will show the current date by default.)

    2. With the field selected, click Allow Time to remove the time section:

    3. Hide the entire field via the following injected CSS, substituting the correct ID for the selector of your form's date field:

    #id_4 {
    display: none;

    If you submit this demo and view the autoresponse, you'll see the date displayed.
