Is it possible to convert leads into personal ccounts?

We are trying to automatically create leads with the Jotform integration. We have managed to create the leads, but when we convert the leads, we can't convert the leads into a personaccount. It is only possible to convert the leads into a b2b account.

The article 'Flexible Data Integration With Salesforce'  says to use "Contact" for people and "Lead" for companies. In Salesforce we also use "Lead" for people. Is it possible to convert leads into personaccounts?

Please note that based on your requirement, you may create a lead or account using the integration. Once the submission is sent as a lead to Salesforce, you may convert it to an account from the Salesforce itself. Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert the lead submission to an account within the JotForm.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kiran,

Thank you for your quick reply. Is it possible to create a lead which is convertable to a personaccount? Maybe we can create an other type of lead?

Is it possible to create a lead which is convertible to a person account? — In jotform, no, it's possible. The lead you've created in Salesforce can be converted from Salesforce only not within Jotform. Check the lead conversion guide here https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=leads_convert_parent.htm&type=5

Is it possible to edit the record type? For example, you see this screenshot with record type ‘’b2b’’. We would like this to be a ‘’personaccount’’.

You may select the record type after you have chosen the object (Lead/Contact/Account) you want JotForm to create.

Also, we have not received the screenshot that you shared. Please try uploading the screenshot directly to the forum.

I am sorry for the confusion. Please note that the current Salesforce integration works only one way. When the Salesforce is integrated to your form, it is required to choose one from the list type i.e., Lead, Contact or Account. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the list type or record type for the already received submission. If it is required to get the user information as a lead, the data shall be sent to Salesforce as lead only by the integration. The received lead from the JotForm to Salesforce can only be converted to account or changing the record type to B2B can only done from Salesforce.

Hope this information helps! If you are referring to something different, please let us know. We will be happy to assist.

When we select the list "Account" a field pops up where we can select the record type "b2b or Personaccount". When we select the list "Lead" the same option is visible, but when we select Personaccount and we save the changes the field to select the record type dissapears.

Do you know what the reason is for the field to dissapear?

To clarify, when you select Personaccount in your lists, the record type disappears?

If possible, can you please share a screenshot of the issue?

    To post a screenshot,kindly follow this guide:-How-to-add-screenshots-images-to-questions-to-the-support-forum

    Looking forward for your response.

Please note that "Record Type" is only available when you "Account" is selected in list. When you switch between list & account and then back to list, it seems to not refresh the options section of integration.

Are you first setting up integration as Lead and then you are changing to "Account" which makes the "Record Type" option as visible but changing it back to "Lead"?
