Can you add Paypal "add to cart" option?

Asked by MutinousCreations on April 03, 2013 at 08:09 PM

I just recently started using JotForm and absolutey love it. However, I have a major problem with JotForm that really needs to be adjusted. I have a wide variety of items for sale on my website. However, with JotForm buyers have to check out seperately with each item. They can't "add to cart" they have to buy JotForm items by themselves.

For example: If someone wants to purchase a shirt from a different part of the website and order patches which use the JotForm form, they have to check out separetly. This messes up shipping costs and is inconvinient for the buyer (and us). Why can't they simply add the item to the cart? Are you working on making this feature available?

    Hi,

I am not sure if you have tried the Purchase Order field in the Payment tools already.

When you use the Purchase Order field, it will not go directly to payment options... in essence, it is like ordering the items first or adding them on a cart, which can be checked out later.

You may also want to review this guide How-To-Add-Options-In-The-Payment-Form it will help on how to highly cusomize your payment items in payment form.

In your sample form, I think you can apply the payment fields option already.

    i.e.

    T-shirt

       qty -- patch 1 -- amount

       qty -- patch 2 -- amount

    T-shirt #2

       qty -- patch 1 -- amount

       qty -- patch 2 -- amount

Hope this help. Do inform us if you have more details to share.

    Thanks.

I am confused by Purchase Order. They fill out and send the form in, the item is added to a cart, and then they check out? Will the form show up as a paid order after they check out? Also it doesn't appear to work with PayPal?

My website has multiple pages so the second solution you linked to definitely will not work. Shirts are on a different page and cannot be in the same check out button.

    Hi,

I am sorry, I did not mean to confuse.

Actually, what I am trying to describe is the procedure where you can collect purchases without first paying for them. I introduce you to the Purchase Order field because, maybe you can have use for it in your current system.

Maybe if you have means to collect those data from purchase order form, and then use the collected data to upload/export it into an actual cart checkout system.

But without further complication, I would like to inform you that JotForm do not have that shopping cart system.

Perhaps you can give us idea on which purchase cart system/application you currently uses. Maybe we can add in JotForm's wishlist an integration for it.

    Thanks.

I just use PayPal's add to cart system. A lot of people use it because there is no monthly cost. Instead of buying one item at a time with PayPal people can order everything they want at once. Integration with this would be awesome!

Thank you for this information. You must be refering Paypal Add to Cart Button.

I have submitted a feature request ticket to our next level support for integration to Paypal Cart Button.

You will be notified when new updates/progress are available about this.

    Thanks.
