When I submit a mobile form offline, do I have to go back onto the app online for it to re-sync?

As a test I turned off mobile data and wifi, then submitted the form offline, then immediately turned on mobile data and wifi, then waited about 15 minutes and nothing happened. When I went back on the app it synced and sent the form.

Do you have to go back onto the form for it to sync or will it do it automatically? This needs to be an auto sync.

Also it looked like it submitted the form twice which will mess up my data set.

Can the above issues be fixed?

How did you fill out the form?

1). Outside of Jotform mobile app and viewed the form URL on other device via browser where the form is pre-loaded then you disable the wifi?

    Or

2). Using Jotform mobile app, but with wifi and data turned off. This means that you have opened the form by tapping the "Fill-out form" button?

    Looking forward for your response.

Still having difficulties with the form submissions in locations with intermittent signal. I've told these users to turn their phone onto airplane mode, submit, then turn airplane mode back on when they have good signal. For some reason the submissions sometimes aren't being processed and other times when they are, the photo says that jotform can't support the file format.

    Any other solutions?

I've told these users to turn their phone onto airplane mode, submit

Do note that this feature will only work with the Mobile App. The users need to download the mobile app on their devices and perform a submission within the app.

Even if the mobile app installed on the device, if the users open the form in a browser and submit it then it will not work. The users need to submit the form within the app.

the photo says that jotform can't support the file format.

Could you please provide more information on this? Do you have a file upload field in the form? Please share a screenshot of the issue and the URL of the form. May we know what is the type of file the users are trying to upload?

Also, please suggest the users use the latest version of the app.

The users need to submit the form within the app

All users have downloaded the app and are submitting the forms within the app. Could there be another reason for errors?

Please share a screenshot of the issue and the URL of the form

When was the app last updated? All users have downloaded the app since 02/10/19

It looks like you are using an old app version. The last update was November 9, 2019 with version 1.9.5. If you have a different version, please update the app to 1.9.5 and test again.

I've been testing it with my mobile app and unable to replicate if I fill the form using the app in offline mode. Please update the app and let us know how it goes.

I have version 1.9.6 but will recommend that all users manually update today.

This morning I cannot access any of the photos in google sheets, even ones I could previously access. Instead I get this webpage:

Do you know why this might be happening and is there a fix?

    Thanks for your help.

This is happening because you have the option "Require log-in to view uploaded files" enabled in your privacy settings https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/settings

Please uncheck the option so you can view the files without downloading it.
