I am trying to find a multiple choice but I don't want the ability to just choose multiple answers, I want a ranking from 1-3 eg. Is this a possibility?

You can just enable the Use Calculation Values under the Options tab and assign the values/ranks for each option.

Thanks for the quick response. I saw that choice but I don't think that is what I'm looking for. I want the person taking the form, to rank from 1 to 3, three of their choices.

In that case, I would suggest you use Orderable List widget so the users can arrange the options in the order they like.
Please this and let us know if that works for you.

It's not exactly what I had in mind but it's close enough, thank you!
We are also having a problem with the script! it's producing an error on the site we embedded it on, won't let it finish the last step. our company has used jotform in the past to embed on the same site and there hasn't been an issue. I also made a second test form to check it, and that one didn't work either. -

Could you please provide the webpage URL you have embedded the form if this issue encounters on your webpage so we can check the error you're referring to?
Looking forward to your response.

I have moved your query regarding the error on your embedded form to a new thread to be handled separately.
Please check the new thread link here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2011628
